In Irish and Gaelic tradition, the Banshee does not cause death. She announces it. Her scream is not a threat. It is a certainty, carried on wind and crow-wing to the family that needs to hear it before the end comes. She has been described as a woman in grey, in white, in the tattered remnants of a burial shroud. What never changes is the sound. If you hear it, someone you love is already gone.

She is not evil. She is older than that distinction.

The Edition
The Dark Folklore Series runs in numbered rotations. This release is limited to the first 1,000 units, each individually marked inside the collar: Dark Folklore Series / Banshee: The Wailing One / No. 0001–1000.
The first 1,000 units carry an individual number. After that, the design continues without it. This design is available for a limited window each year. When the rotation closes, it will not be restocked until the following season.
